Hand and Wrist Specialist
Dr. Louis P. Clark, Jr., is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in treating injuries and conditions of the hand and wrist.
After graduating with his undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University, Dr. Clark received his medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. After completing an internship at the same institution, Dr. Clark completed three residencies, which included a general surgery residency at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio; a general surgery residency at Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, Kansas; and an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City in Kansas City, Missouri.
Before joining Cape Fear Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in 1984, Dr. Clark completed a hand surgery fellowship at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He currently serves as an assistant professor for the Physician Assistant Program at Methodist University and team doctor for the Fayetteville FireAntz.
When Dr. Clark is not seeing patients, he enjoys golfing and fishing.
