Surgery Treatment

FORAMINOTOMY
Relieves symptoms of nerve root compression (pinched nerves) caused by bones, discs, scar tissue or excessive ligament development that compresses the foramen. Procedure is used to treat foraminal stenosis, herniated disc, bulging disc, pinched nerve, bone spurs, arthritis of the spine, failed back surgery, scar tissue and sciatica.

LAMINOTOMY
Conditions caused by a herniated disc, bulging disc, bone spurs, facet hypertrophy or scar tissue can be treated surgically by doing a laminotomy. Procedure is used to treat bone spurs, pinched nerves, spinal stenosis, herniated disc, and bulging disc, arthritis of the spine, scar tissue and failed back surgery.

DISECTOMY
The surgical removal of a herniated disc or bulging disc material that puts pressure on a nerve root or spinal cord. Procedure is used to treat Degenerative Disc Disease (DDD), Failed Back Syndrome (FBS), herniated disc, bulging disc, pinched nerve, sciatica and spinal stenosis.

FACET THERMAL ABLATION
Laser eradication of an effected nerve that innervates the joint to cause painful symptoms. Procedure is used to treat facet disease, facet joint syndrome, facet hypertrophy, facet arthritis and degenerative facet joints.

FUSION
Fusing two or more vertebral segments of the spine to eliminate pain. Southeastern Spine provides both cervical and lumbar spinal fusion treatment options. A cervical spinal fusion procedure is used to treat herniated disc, cervical spondylosis and cervical stenosis with myelopathy. A lumbar spinal fusion procedure is used for radiculopathy, spondylolisthesis, stenosis and scoliosis.
