Continued Physical Therapy Care During COVID-19

Continued Physical Therapy Care During COVID-19
June 1, 2020adminFayetteville NCOrthopedicphysical therapy

Orthopedics & Physical Therapy

As health care providers of physical therapy and orthopedics, we take pride in our ability to enhance our patient’s lives and lessen their pain. Our success is measured by the healing and gains in our patients. With the unprecedented emergence of COVID-19, our outlook hasn’t changed, but our physical therapy and orthopedic practices have.

Physical Therapy

Patient health and safety is our number one priority, so we take steps to ensure that you are safe and cared for at all times while you visit us for physical therapy. We understand that physical therapy needs do not stop because of a virus. As such, we now offer telehealth physical therapy with select providers when necessary, and when manual manipulation is not required. If you prefer to visit our office in person, you may continue to do so as long as you are healthy. We offer services with social distancing and personal protective equipment to help protect staff and patients in a clean, safe environment.

Orthopedics

If you need care right away, our orthopedics team accepts patients by appointment or by walk-in. Please note, that we prefer to initiate our check-in process by text and have you wait in your car for patient visits to limit interactions between patients. If you feel symptoms like fever, chills, and loss of taste or smell, and your visit is not urgent, you may be asked to reschedule your appointment to help prevent the spreading of illness. Feel free to give us a call to help you decide the appropriate course of action.

Local Care

By visiting our offices for physical therapy and orthopedic care, you eliminate unnecessary trips away from home. As physicians, P.A.’s, and DPT’s, we are qualified to perform your initial evaluation. In most cases, you do not need to see your General Practitioner for a referral and can come to us via self-referral. We will perform your initial assessment and determine if you should see someone in our orthopedic or physical therapy setting, or we can refer you to another doctor if we believe you need alternative care.
